The Arex 21 policy is primarily characterized by a high grade of flexibility and customized fit in the field of coverage, capitals and releases.Thanks to the Arex-21 policy, it is possible for Embassy Freight Services Europe N.V. to cover risks which are difficult to insure. This combined with the professional advice from our specialised insurance partner (also market leader in this branch!) this policy is the best guarantee for a logistical company like Embassy Freight Services Europe N.V.

Continuous transport insurance

Fortunately, Embassy Freight Services Europe N.V. offers a continuous transport insurance. For a small additional fee per shipment, you can make use of this insurance. This gives you the coverage you need for both national and international shipments. If you wish to make use of our insurance, it is very important to inform us in writing in advance.

Liability insurance is not the same thing

The transporter always has a liability insurance. However, this is not the same thing as transport insurance. The liability insurance will only pay out if the transporter is indeed the one responsible for the damage. Payment is based on weight and/or volume, which means that the payment you receive, might be considerably lower than the actual value of the damaged goods.

Permanent transport insurance

The Incoterms are insufficient to fully cover the risk of damaged or lost property. Incoterms determine when liability is assigned to the various parties involved. It is advisable to customize your transport insurance based on the applicable Incoterms. In this way, damages to your goods as well as containers and supplies are covered against damages inflicted during the shipments. It is advisable to attune your insurance to the employed Incoterm.
