The “ Blauwe Steen ” is the symbolic name for the edge of the quay wall in the port of Antwerp. This term is used with the Incoterm FOB (Free On Board), when responsibility and costs transfer from the seller to the buyer the moment the goods pass the ship’s railing (or the edge of the quay wall). In Flemish ports they use the term ”Blauwe Steen".
